Doula Services
Fee for Birth Doula Services: $500
Services Include:
- Two prenatal visits and unlimited phone and email contact
- Assistance with drafting a birth plan
- Provide information on childbirth education classes in your community
- Complement or supplement information received in those classes
- Attend a doctor/midwife appointment with you if you so desire
- 24 Hour on call beginning two weeks prior to your due date
- Back up Doula care in the unlikely event that your doula cannot attend your birth
- Contact care, attention and support once active labor has begun, up until approximately 2 hours postpartum
- Help to maintain a calm birth experience that matches your birth wishes as closely as possible
- Assistance with unexpected outcomes in providing support, guidance and information
- One Postpartum visit and unlimited phone and email contact for up to 6 weeks after the birth
- Breastfeeding support, information and referrals – if needed
- Parenting and newborn support, information and referrals – if needed
- 100% confidentiality
